I have been reading on the web that it is a better and more effective way than going to clubs. I am just worried that most of these types of classes have way more men than women and the women would just want to dance among themselves and be hostile towards the men (like in clubs). Does anyone have any experience with this?

Usually, there are more women than men taking dance lessons. And if they are hostile toward men during the lesson, then who will they practice with? Think about it.

It depends on the individual, and different people have different motives for wanting to dance, but women in general seem to admire men who actually take the time to get to know how to dance.

The atmosphere at a dance class is different that it is at clubs, were strangers are always hitting on the girls there. People are probably less defensive at a class, as long as are serious about learning, because you are not just there for only one thing (like most people at the clubs).

Cue Club. It's a pool hall (hence the name) and it is usually busy at nights, and is def. on the weekends. Its only 75 cents to play single games and like $9.00 to play by the hour..
