Another of your brilliant generalizations? I don't use my cell while driving. Go ahead and ask some more of these thought provoking questions, you have a couple points left.

I drive less than 10 miles a day, usually not at all unless Im working (and Ive managed to get a schedule that allows FT in 3 days, so I rarely drive). I cant even stand to be on the phone at home, why would anyone talk on it in the car?

Who are these Americans you speak of? Did I lose my citizenship without realizing it?

Let's go with "C".

It's not MOST Americans, but it's a lot of them, mostly young women. If they're not yakking on a cell phone, they're often fixing their makeup or combing their hair in traffic, while looking in the visor mirror instead of paying attention to the road in heavy traffic. It causes a lot of accidents, and it's illegal and ticketable. Any cops looking at this? PLEASE arrest them before they kill somebody.

I don't use the phone to have conversations while driving; I use them to make sure the people I am meeting will be on time, or if I will be late, if I am lost, etc.
