Be VERY CAREFUL of this statement.
For a reputable firm, like Amazon or BHPhotoVideo, this means a complete camera kit, but no lens. This is a common practice in dSLR's where you want specific lenses and not waste your money on junk kit lenses.
BUT, there are a lot of ripoff sites out there!!! If you buy from them, you will receive the body only for a cheap price. But you will be missing the rest of the kit. This means you will be missing the manual, cords, battery, everything else!!! You are forewarned.

It means the camera doesn't come with a lens. Some cameras have interchangeable lenses and if you only want one lens you can choose one that fits your intended use and price range. In this case, you'll have to do that.

That means you need to buy a lens to match this camera.The price only for the camera body.
