from what i was reading about hes return to earth he is gonna come back an whoop some major BUTT!..so why do alot of people say jesus is a pacifest

BEcause of sin and unbelief. OUr God is an almighty God that is a God of love, but He will have to end sin for the rest of us, for there to be a perfect Heaven. PPL that will only rebell against Him leave Him no choice, and yes they will be destroyed. way more than a butt whooping. They are destroyed and sent to hell. OUr God is not a pacificst and anyone that reads and knows the Bible knows just that. WE are to be in fear, meaning total AWE of Him. He can do anything, and doesnt need our permission to do it.
So serve Jesus today. Hope your picture doesnt say much about you. I am praying you just thought it was funny, but its not ever funny to laugh at sin or the person sinning. We can love forgive and move on, but sin is never funny, and when we laugh at it, we mock God. Ask God to forgive you. He will, and just get a new picture. Yes, waiting to see this happen.

when Jesus first came-- he as you put it 'whooped some major Butt' and look what happened!
So when he come back again he will surely 'whoop major BUTT'.
In religious terms 'whopping butt' means 'spiritually enlighting peoples lives.' [not violence. If violence was his way then he would have rid the Jews of the Romans very quickly]
So many lives already 'whooped' today.
Just imagine when he next descends there will be major spiritual growth (whooping).

Thank you. I am constantly amazed how so many people think that Jesus is different from the God of the Old Testament. He's going to judge all those who come against Israel! Just like things are building up in the Middle East against Israel, I wonder how much more it will take for people to wake up!

He contradicts himself a lot. Blessed are the peacemakers, turn the other cheeck, love your neighbor. Yet he trashed the temple when the people were selling and trading there. You tell me? This is not even taking into account the murdeous god of the OT who even stopped the sun so his people could slaughter more of their enemy.

People that say he's a pacifest, haven't read the bible. He never denounced the old teachings. I'm not religious but I do know you can't summarize a book by using part of it. Only lawyers do that. :o)
