You might be talking about the early Christian symbol of the FISH which some Christians have interpreted as the outline for the first letter of the words [Iesous (Jesus) CHristos (Christ) THeou (God) Uiou (Son) Soter (Savior)] - "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior" .
Or you might be referring to the fish in the sea awaiting netting and being eaten, sometimes alive; or awaiting trawling by fishers of people who want to incorporate you into their political or religious organisation; or you might be referring to our evolution from fish, something I find hard to swallow, except for the nice piece of battered cod I had last night.
