No, you won't go to jail, but you will be busy for a while. I'm sure you will have a good fine facing you, and you're going to have to get SR 22 insurance. There may be more involved, but that is going to be up to the Judge. Failure to follow the courts order now could cause your license to be revoked, and a possible arrest.

It depends. More than likely they will just give you a hefty fine. ails are too overcrowded to be putting every single offender in. Just make sure you have good reason why you did not show up for the court date. Also, did you not have insurance at all or did you not have insurance the day you got the ticket. I think you will get a hefty fine and some community service. Then again, it depends on what mood the judge woke up in.

No. Just bring proof of insurance and bring proof of the GOOD reason you missed the first court date if you can.
I've had nothing but good experiences in traffic court. I've had to go twice and both times the judges were attentive and listened to all parties involved.
As an example, one woman in court got a ticket for parking illegally in a handicapped spot. She admitted that she had, but her reason was good. She was driving her elderly, disabled mother to an appointment but there was no curbside parking to let her mother out. She parked in the handicapped spot, helped her mother to the appointment, and returned from the building. In that timeframe she received the ticket. The judge said it was a fair reason and dismissed the ticket.
You may have to pay a fine but other than that I'm sure everything's going to be ok. :)

No, Just make sure you have plenty of cash on hand. There is usually an administrative fee that keeps your bottom out of the can. If you don't have that you might go to jail for a a few days before they can get you bck into the court room. Then they will release you OR. (own recognisance) Unless of you were on probation or parole before. That's the situation I'm in now.

Probably not going to jail but you will get heftier fines and courtt costs. Plus the court will increase the length of time your license is suspended.

If they gave you a new court date, you'd better show up prepared to pay your fine - otherwise you will definitely be staying in the Paris Hilton hotel for a while.

not if you called and had it changed - if you have insurance and had it at the time (many companys will back date policies) you just have to show your insurance and ticket to the prosecutor before the court date and it will be waved - but if your not suspended - DO NOT DRIVE YOURSELF!!!

you probably have a warrant, you should call the court house and find out, if you do get arrested you will probably just be in there until your ticket is paid but everywhere is different

I would seriously doubt you'd go to jail...but the court may decide to fine you not just for the insurance issue...but for not appearing in court.
To top it off...I'm sure you'll have to pay to have your license reinstated!
Doesn't pay to thumb your nose at the courts!
Best wishes.
