I need to hook up a laptop to a new 60" Vizio Plasma tv that is 30 feet away- Can I get sound out of the TV?

I am in the process of trying to buy a long vga cord but can i get a long cord with headphone input on one side and red/white stereo on the other? (30' long)

My Panasonic plasma has a 3.5 mm stereo jack for PC audio input. However, I guess it depends on the mfg.

Most PCs use a 3.5 mm stereo jack.

therefore in my case I need a cable with 3.5mm stereo plugs at both ends and a vga cable with a male and a female connector on the ends.

make sure you get what you need. You can expect poorer PQ with such a long vga cable.
