The non-Christian won't go to heaven.

Neither one because God promised a paradise earth for the righteous and the unrighteous John 5:28
However if after being resurrected or even the other guy chooses to be bad then they die the second death.
But heaven is not an option for either one of them.
the most they can hope for is living forever on the earth.

In the bible (John 3:14) it says that if you believe in Chirst you will go to heaven. So you should make your own decision, and read the bible.

you will because that person didn't have a chance to repent but you do and since you did you would go to heaven, even though you killed somone. God forgives even the worst sins, you just have to ask for forgiveness. You can't expect Him to forgive you automatically.
