I run a few miles every morning. It's good exercise, but that's not why I do it. I do it to relieve stress, and it works wonders. I also eat relatively healthy (although I do have a sweet tooth), drink in moderation, don't smoke or do any form of drugs, and get about seven hours of sleep a night. Overall, I'm one healthy girl.
But I'm convinced I'd be just the same if I wasn't a Christian. I enjoy my life and I try to preserve my health, I don't see how that would be any different if I was a member of a different religion, or didn't have one.

I have a direct correlation with how I treat my soul.
When I didn't listen to God's word I smoked, drank, did drugs, drank 2-4 2 Litters of Pepsi a day, ate oreo's, usually went to bed without brushing my teeth, only exercised while dancing at the bars. Basically, I was trashing my soul & body.
Okay, so I matured a little ... the baby steps toward God, I noticed I stopped drinking as much soda ... started brushing my teeth (ewww, I know, can't believe I was a yuck-mouth), and took group exercise classes.
Today, I find the more spiritual I get, the better I take care of my body. I refuse to eat "Enriched Flour" (eewww ... bleach), Artifical Sweetners, and animal products injected with steriroids. My biggest damage on my body now is coffee & sometimes over-exercising.

I am a Christian and I do my best to stay healthy, not because of my religion but because of my life and my children. With two kiddos, a dog and a kitty I get my exercise in and love to find time to walk. My kids and I work out together. . .we all have little hand weights. My daughter is 4 and my son is 6 and I already want to teach them how important it is to eat good, exercise and get good sleep. . . .to not take advantage of the life and body they were blessed with.

Unfortunately, I tend to pollute it. I do like junk food from time to time. However, I also work out regularly in an attempt to counteract the occasional sundaes and chocolate.

properly i think that the N.T. grants which you will deal along with your physique as a temple, in actuality. it incredibly isn't any booze, no dope, no intercourse outdoors of procreation which excludes masturbation or something kinky, no marks like tattoos or changes, and so on. yet ingesting buckets of fatty, fried ingredients, properly it incredibly is comparable to doing drugs or ingesting booze. you're abusing the present of existence. As for the intercourse section, i think of it incredibly is easily healthful, aside from like intense S&M considering does reason injury.

i take care of it by keeping it fit and um washing myself like any normal person should. i want to be healthy for God so that He will use me for all the day of my life. i try to stay away from harmful substances and such. and i decorate it (necklace, ring, earrings) solomon's temple was beautiful, so why shouldn't we be, if it's for God's glory?
