Sleep deprivation has to be done to someone. You cannot die from sleep deprivation on your own because eventually the mind will simply shut down and you will sleep. In order to die from it, someone has to actively keep you awake, in that instance, usually 5 to 6 days will do the trick and you die from cardiac arrest.

i became having alot of rigidity in the previous napping and could desire to no longer nod off.
