reason being the govenment seems to be putting the true people of this country at risk from these fanatics.i personally think that if you are at war with a country(rogue states)why would you let people from these countrys enter the uk and walk about are streets knowing they have come here to blow us up.i know that some are genuine immagrants but surely it makes sense to vet these people or just let women and children claim asylum instead.even where i live they are fighting each other now over just being a diffrent race,we dont need these sort of people its obvious to me and for those people who dont agree with me on this i say this to you.ive met your type before and deep down you know you dont like them so dont start telling me im a racist because im not ive got a colured television at home.thanks for reading il be looking forward to your views.

Your view is a little simplistic. Not many Muslims are fanatical homicidal terrorists. I've known quite a few over the years. Britain does have a severe and increasing socialogical problem though, and immigration has a lot to do with it. The fact is though that the British economy is kept afloat by immigrant workers in low paid jobs that British Nationals don't or won't do. This has been the case for many years. Problems are arising due to the amount of people we're letting in, not where they're coming from. The decline in British civilisation is influenced by many other factors like poor education and the fragmentation of the family unit. You can't just blame the Muslims. Following george 'Warcrimes' bush into an illegal war hasn't done us any favours either.

There is a massive difference between carrying out thorough checks on immigrants and blanket bans on foreign nationals entering the country. Thinly veiled racism, religionism and xenophobia is not an excuse to bar people fom certain ethnic backgrounds or religious backgrounds from entering the U.K.

What about Jews entering from Iran (seeing as Iran has the second highest Jewish population in the Middle East - please don't ask which is the most populous one) or Christians entering from Lebanon? What about people entering from extremely peaceful muslim nations like Malaysia? Blanket policies are poor policy and will make Britain the laughing stock of theinternational stage.

More importantly, it will deomnstrate that this great country is afraid of a few small-minded nutcases hell-bent on changing the way we live our lives (a little like those fanatics who advocate prevention of foreign nationals entering the country for whatever reason).

The only way to effectively deal with immigration issues in terms of prevention of terrorism is to vet those that come into the country, no matter what ethnic background, profession or country they emmanate from.

It may have escaped you that the perpetrators of the 7th of July bombings were from Britain albeit Islamic communities. It may have escaped you that the I.R.A. were not Muslims.

Terrorism has no barriers, it seeps in everywhere there is hate. People like you should be mindful of that.

P.S. Gillie;
You say the country is full already and so we should not allow in any more people, and yet you can't even manage to speak English, your own language. You're a prize tit.

P.P.S. Terry;
What about those soldiers who fought for this green and pleasant land who were not English? What about the Ghurkas, the Seikhs, the Fijians? The list goes on.

P.P.P.S. Darren K;
If you are highlighting refusal to integrate with local culture and sticking to one's own kind as a reason why people should not be allowed into a country, then why are British ex-pats allowed in Spain? Fish and Chips anybody?

We should rid our country of ALL Muslims , they are a two faced lot of bastards , that will certainly kill and maim our people every chance they get, we have been tolerent to long , we should burn there mosques , and out law the burkas ,the sooner we have civil war in this country the better , at the present time we are going like lambs to the slaughter just as the jews did in Germany ,we must fight back if we and our way of life is to survive

Wwe are, as yu claim, at war with these people because yobs like you support wars taken to their Country, where their kids are murdered every day.

What would be yur own response were these your children. Exactly. As to your not being a racist, that's akin to suggesting that yu are not an uneducated moron, when it is clear from your comments that you are both.

I live in the US and agree with you. I think after 9/11 no one from suspected countries should have been allowed entry. No exceptions. Those with only visas, etc. should have been sent home. Students, residents doing medical internships here, etc. Too bad. Good bye. Guilty by association.

These countries hate us so much I also feel we should not have anything to do with them at all. They want their own muslim country to live their way, let them have it. No one from any other country should trade with them or buy their products. Isolate them entirely and let them live like they want. Problem is they won't let others live that way. They want world domination.

From what I hear, Detroit Michigan is loaded with Muslims. Another Yahoo person said they hear that call to prayer three times a day and all stops. I'd move. They just shipped a ton more in here. How idiotic. Our own government is allowing our destruction from within. Why not just hand it over to them on a silver platter?

Loved the colored TV reference.

Yes I do because we should put the well being of our children and families first.

The Muslim community do not seem to want to come out against tthe terrorist probably through fear and in this cllimate how can we know who to trust. After all even doctors are at it.

So no! I dont want any more of them to come here.

i agree, i believe we should have a tougher process before we let them in.
But to be fair, its mostly people that were born in the UK and therefore they are BRITISH that are the terrorists. I cant believe it, why kill people from your own country!?

I say we should now shut our borders down for good and not let anymore people in to our country at all no matter the reason they want to come and stay.

I've got a better idea! We'll do a test and throw out everyone who doesn't pass it. Let's see - yeah, we'll chuck out everyone who can't spell the word 'immigrant'.
After all, you can't be a proper citizen if you can't use the English language properly.
Oh, wait a minute, they'll cheat won't they. They'll use the spellchecker!! But that'll only let the clever ones through the net, it'll still sort out the stupid ones, so its worth a try.
