A few reasons Jerbson....
1) England is more accessible (though we do have easy access and plenty of terror cells here).
2) We've managed to catch the terrorists before they acted.
3) Strategically, this would be a bad time to attach the US for them. It would only strenghten our resolve to fight them, whereas the British are currently showing signs of appeasement in Iraq. While they may have misread the Brits, they achieved success in Spain.
4) Strategically, they're attempting to undermine our allies since they're fairly certain they can't undermine us yet. *see #3*
5) We've been keeping them busy in Iraq and Afghanistan which has reduced possibility of attack in Britain and in the US. Law Enforcement has to deal with the remaining threat and a combination of fewer muslims and increased action in Iraq and Afghanistan has allowed our LE to do that *so far.*
The biggest motivation to them attempting one here will continue to be the way CNN and other media cover war related topics and Certain Politicians and the public calling for retreat. IF this continues, they will see opportunity for a strike here to have the desired effect, ie. appeasement. (Right now they see their continued efforts in Iraq as the best method for the US to retreat due to political pressure.) IF retreat is conducted, it will free up more terrorists and their resources to act here, overwhelming LE and intelligence efforts to catch them before they act.

Well, I have a few thoughts on why. One of those thoughts being that the UK is far closer to those with ties to al qaeda and has a higher populous of Middle Easterners. It's easier to go to a training camp when you live closer to it.
Another reason, America has beefed up it's security. I'm not saying it can't happen again but, they know a lot of us are still pissed as sh*t and we are more willing to be taken down trying than sit around with our thumbs up our a**.
Oh, lets not forget, our President doesn't give a flying hoot about the liberals "humanity" BS. If there's an inkling that someone has ties, his/her butt is off to interogation. Our only problem is we don't get to beat the holy crud out of people like other countries do. Not saying some of us don't, but for the most part, we follow the rules, which in turn...really sucks.

I would say that this is the result of a number of reasons:
1) Better integration of minorities in the US.
2) Aggressive foreign intelligence targeting terrorist plots while they are still outside of our borders
3) Fear. Other nations are terrified of the thought of having a terrorist attack on the US launched from their territory so they make sure that this sort of activity is stopped.

Tracey, a pretend flag attack is an attack this is carried out nearer on your own usa and blamed on a extra usa as a pretext for conflict. The Germans did one as pretext for conflict in direction of Poland, for example. on the 2d, there are a number of mindless idiots who bear in mind there's a secret cabal walking the international and achieving assaults in opposition to the west to allow wrestle with quite numerous international places. The idiots experience 11th of September was once one, even with it needless to say being utilized by way of Al Qaeda and proudly bragged approximately via that marketplace company. those lunatics experience they could be an attack nearer to the London Olympics. yet like i discussed, they is likewise idiots so no longer worth paying attention to.

surprised nobody said this one yet....
Tony Blair just stepped down as PM. He was Bush's biggest supporter for the war effort and for troop deployment. With him gone, the "terrorist" may feel by attacking them now they can shake the resolve of the new acting head of the govt. and turn popular thought against acting or continuing the war. Remember, not everybody there was for the war. Kinda like here!

Either they are practicing in the UK, or it's because they know that if they attack the US like they have been in UK and Spain, that there wouldn't be a Muslim alive in 3 weeks. You saw what happened after 9/11 and if it happened again, I would hate to see what happens.

I have recently thought about that..and I would not give credit to Bush for this but to American society ...as September 7Th was done by home grown terrorist, and the most recent done by foreigners living among the immigration community..I would say Britain has failed to integrate Muslims into their society,
where a recent poll has shown that American Muslims feel very much at home !
There is well over 9,000,000 MUSLIMS IN THE US !!

The U.S. probably has better screening. Some alleged terrorists were recently caught in the U.S. after two people reported them.
Al Queda might be trying to create appeasement among the U.S. allies, forcing the U.S. to fight Al Queda on its own.

Why has there always been more terrorist attacks on the UK than the USA?..the only reason you recognize terror attacks is because you have experienced one, oh sorry two, on your soil...terror attacks have been a common occurrence all over the world since the Jews started the concept in the fight for Israel...Nelson Mandela was a terrorist...the difference being here is that the UK and the rest of the world have not locked the nation up in fear..the terrorists do not even have to attack the US anymore because you are already defeated by fear.

I hate to admit it but i feel that there are a few reasons. One of them is that the increased security in the U.S. has actually worked a little bit. It has made it hard to attack us. Next, the terrorists have realized that shaking the U.S. is going to be very difficult especially with our current stuburn president. They have realized that the bgetter way to do it is to attack our allies and try to encourage them to loose support for a cause that is not their own. The UK falls into that category.
