She says that sometimes she knows God is responsible, but she believes in more of a science theory of existance... The Big Bang Theory... How can I help prove to her that God created the universe? How can I help lead from that into Jesus dying for sins? We are both 15, and I haven't really tried this before. How can I help her?

Ignore all those other unintelligent responses. I can understand that the reason you want her to understand God is because you care for her and would like her to have the same reward as you. A question for you is, how receptive is she? Is she inquiring about Christianity? Or does she push it away? If she pushes it away like many of the people that answered your questions, all you can do is lead by example and lifestyle, and perhaps that may lead her to be more receptive. If she is receptive, then that is good because it shows that she wants to make an informed decision. You absolutely cannot push it on her, but you can tell her how Jesus has worked in your life.

There is nothing wrong with trying to share your beliefs.. But at your age.. you are still trying to figure things out yourself.. you are too young to fully understand Existance... trust me, your and your frinds model of existance will be tried and tested thorughout life an dyour view points will change dramatically as you mature...

Do not try to convince her until you have figured things out yourself... wait till someone you really love dies, or until you do not get that job or you find out your boyfrind, husband or other love has cheated on you or has left you with kids... until you have lived you will not be able to better understand existance and its workings.

i myself believe in GOD and also believe in the big bang theory......

my best argument for the existance of god is that only devine inspiration could have created order in the universe, randomness does not beget order.... order is born of order.. thus there must be a creator..

Don't try it. You'll find that in time she will find her own answers.

I have always hated ministering because you can not change any ones hearts unless they are ready for it. Even them, they are the only ones who know if they are ready to accept. If people are not searching for the truth, they are not looking for the answers you can not convince them, unless they are weak minded people.

If you truly want to convince your friend, you'll need to be an example, not a mouth piece.

And I'd like to challege BBK to prove the God does not exist. I feel sorry for you, calling someone with stupid because they think different then you just shows how close minded you really are.

the big bang theory is creation. nothing to do with evolution. don't help her to better understand anything other than by your own example. don't be preachy and dwell on jesus. find your common ground and go with that.

you can't help lead her anywhere. you can plant a seed of truth about God and Jesus and then it takes root or it don't. freewill for her and all souls. tell her about intelligent design and what it offers in terms of creation and its cohesiveness with scientific facts.

But intelligent design theorists are quick to point out they do not necessarily call that "intelligent designer" God. They do not tie their theory to any sacred text or the creation account in Genesis, although intelligent design theory includes some kind of divine spark.
___"I do think God is real and created the universe, but I don't know how," explained Jonathan Wells, author of "Icons of Evolution." In his book, Wells challenges some of Darwin's theories about natural selection and random mutation. He claims there are structures and natural systems that defy Darwin.
___Take, for example, flagellar motors, the mechanism that powers the flagellum, a tail-like structure that moves bacteria through water. Intelligent design proponents claim the motor has so many parts, and is so complex, that it could not work unless all the pieces are assembled in their proper places, all at the same time. That, they say, does not allow for a slow evolutionary process and makes room for some kind of unknown designer.

Well there is a lot of things that she needs to know about God and his plan to redeem the lost. But you could start by convincing her how much God loves her. Show her a few Bible verses about God's love. The most popular one is John 3:16 God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, so that who so ever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Accepting the findings of modern science does not make a person an atheist. If your friend's beliefs are not identical to yours it is not your place to "help her understand." At 15, your own understanding is not fully formed. Leave it alone.

If she sometimes believes in God, then she is NOT an Atheist. She may be an Agnostic, but definitely NOT an Atheist.

There are lots of good books she can read about origins... but your relationship with her is more likely to be the catalyst for a change of heart.

Do a google search for Creation Science and you should come up with some stuff. Also you can check out www.answersingenesis.org

Really you cannot prove anything to her because believing in God has to do with faith and not fact. You cannot force her to believe in anything so just be there if she has any questions for you and let her decide for herself. Good luck.

it is not necessarily about proving to her. You just live you life the way GOD would want you to and she will see through you and your walk that JESUS is real. We are only here as servants to proclaim HIS word and people believe when they see something and GOD shows who HIS is all the time people just have to open their eyes
