Where from?
If you are under 18 you are likely to need parental permission, under 16 (or a little younger, I am not sure) you need to be brought to the airport by a parent or official carer, handed over to a flight attendant, at the other end being met by a person indicated by the parent or official carer.
I think it was 12 at least before you are allowed connections, and younger than 5 you are not allowed on a flight without your own adult to take care of you.
(Age 5 to 12 the flight attendants will keep an eye on you, I am told.)
But as all these ages are different at each airline you better check before you book a ticket.
I am just sure that if you are younger than 18 you need permission, even to buy a ticket, officially.
There are also differences in internal (UK) flights and international flights.

It depends on if you want to fly or be flown.
If you want to be flown then you have to be 17 and have a PPL if you want to go in a powered aircraft. If you want to go in a glider then you have to be 16.
If you want to be flown, then ring the airline ;)

I don't know if there is a certain age. I mean you shouldn't be too young. It's far away!
