Aparently you ppl all think I'm closed minded and I don't blame you because I am very frank and used to being close minded, but to just get it out there in the open: I AM open mided. Now after read like tons of answers, I'm ready for some more. Can anyone give me some good books with good arguements (I need it to be more detailed, precise, and in depth) about evolution (written by an evolutionist) and also any titles of basic books that go over evolution and are not in depth?

A good one is "Evolution and the Myth of Creationism" by Tim M Berra

Also check out these sites. They are interesting and have a lot of information.

i can give you dozens of books that counter evolution.....like icons of evolution or tornado in a junkyard. i'm not sure if you're open minded or not. your freewill to decide for yourself what you believe or know to be truth. be open minded and accept that evolution is merely theory which many scientists don't agree with regardless of any religion or ancient texts. look at their proof they offer and the counters they provide to theories of evolution. the impossibilities of that theory and what it proposes.

But intelligent design theorists are quick to point out they do not necessarily call that "intelligent designer" God. They do not tie their theory to any sacred text or the creation account in Genesis, although intelligent design theory includes some kind of divine spark.
___"I do think God is real and created the universe, but I don't know how," explained Jonathan Wells, author of "Icons of Evolution." In his book, Wells challenges some of Darwin's theories about natural selection and random mutation. He claims there are structures and natural systems that defy Darwin.
___Take, for example, flagellar motors, the mechanism that powers the flagellum, a tail-like structure that moves bacteria through water. Intelligent design proponents claim the motor has so many parts, and is so complex, that it could not work unless all the pieces are assembled in their proper places, all at the same time. That, they say, does not allow for a slow evolutionary process and makes room for some kind of unknown designer.
