I had a terrible sinus infection and was looking for homeopathic remedies and came across Y!A through Google. I saw on the front page someone asking a ridiculous question about Christianity and had to speak up. I already had a Yahoo ID I use for Flickr, so I just signed up and answered. The rest is history.

Maybe God gave me the sinus infection in order to lead me here? I doubt it.

Yes, I believe God led me here. I used to hang out in a Catholic chat room, and answer questions from the anti-Catholics that came in. But I don't have time for that any longer.

One day I did a Google search on something related to Catholicism, and it brought me here to R&S. I was concerned when I saw that a Catholic had answered a question about their own faith incorrectly! There are enough lies and misconceptions about the Church out there, without having Catholics add to it. So I thought I might be able to contribute something here.

From the positive emails I've received from both Catholics and non-Catholics here, I think I may have indeed helped a few people. All thanks and praise to the Holy Spirit for guiding me.

I'm afraid god had little or nothing to do with it. I have always been curious as to why people need religion. What is it in religious people that requires religion? Why don't I have it? How much are religious people willing to swallow in order to have their religion? Why are some of their arguments so blatantly and obviously incorrect? Obviously they do not see it. Why? Is it because they don't want to? Is it because they have never been exposed to the history of religion? I suppose you could say I ended up on this site because of curiosity.

A link led me to Yahoo Answers. Somebody was telling me about the site in an e-mail, and suggested that I might have fun with the R&S section. Next thing I knew, I was addicted.

What is R&S?
Putting that aside, no actually I started out just talking about shallow things such as hair a nails but then I stumbled across an interesting question... in this section. I really love this section now, plus who knows it may cause someone to change their religion. I really doubt that but anything's possibel with God. And it's funny how rude people are to me, they have no clue how old I am!

a general message from a Christian service I suscribed to told about it. I checked it out and saw a lot of wrong information and downright lies being spread..so I dove right in to counter some of them...but I have mostly given up... I still come on in between other tasks... YA R&S is just another example of Yahoos clear anti Christian bias... I try not to let it get to me... but the anti Christian hatred is so blatent... it is almost unbelievable... and the compleate ignorance and missunderstanding of the truth is beyound belief here... even given that many are barely teens.
