Hon,
The odds of you dying in your sleep are so remote, it's hard to even calculate. Young folks such as yourself don't generally die in their sleep without having a long, lingering illness as the cause.
As far as fires go, set your mind at ease. Talk to your mom and/or dad about your dreams. Ask them to check the fire alarms in your house. If they all beep, you're halfway there. Check the plugs/outlets in the house and make sure they're all good and no cords are frayed with wires exposed.
If your mom or dad smoke, before YOU go to bed, go to all the ash trays in the house and make sure they're all extinguished.
If you did have a fire in your house and you somehow missed the fire alarm, your dog would most likely wake you up. If you sleep upstairs, sleep with your window slightly open for fresh air. This will also help you to sleep better, and God forbid, if you ever did have a fire, your room would not be able to fill up with smoke.
Ask your mom to invest in a window ladder, provided you're on the second floor of your home, so you have a way out.
You can get inexpensive fire extinguishers and put one in each room of the house so that if there ever is a fire, you can grab that sucker off your wall and squirt your way out of your house.
Also have a good escape plan ready in your mind with several different scenarios ready so IF you ever did have a fire -- which would be pretty unlikely mathematically speaking -- you will not be panicked and you will know what to do.
When you KNOW that all the precautions have been met, your fears will subside. It's natural to be scared of stuff, honey, even stuff that seems to be kind of far out there. And don't forget, you can also pray and ask God to ease your fears; He will, He does mine.
Your dreams can easily be attributed to any number of things: Anxiety concerning school and the upcoming year, friends having moved away, hearing what's been happening on the news, any major stressor in life can subconsiously make you "feel" like you're going to "die," and it comes out in your dreams. But really, honey, house fires are less likely than most other scary things, and even when there is a house fire, it's more often that everyone makes it out okay rather than not.
You're young and you have your entire life ahead of you. Be wise, make good decisions and CHOOSE not to be afraid of things that aren't likely to happen. And being prepared for the IF will make you a lot more comfortable and secure.

I completely understand!!! Im 12 to and sometimes well actually all the time i get scared because i think that a robber or kidnapper is going to come into my room like through the window or something and i get freaked out at night when i walk by doors or windows. It helps me get over it when i ask God to send 1,000,000,000 angels down and cover my house so no bad people can get in try it it helps!

omg! I feel for u. that used to happen to me before. its really scary, but i tried some of these things that helped.
1: Tell your mom how you're feeling, and give her a hug if u want. It's amazing how reassurance helps.
2: Before you go to bed, think about happy things, and about what you're going to do the next day until you're so tired you fall asleep. That way, you're more likely to dream about the stuff you thought about b4 bed.
I hope u feel a lot better about the whole thing!
P.S. I'm 12 too! and we obviously both luv miley/hannah!

Dreams were always more vivid and frightening when I was a child. Trust that you will be ok and they will get more pleasant over time for you, I hope. They did for me.

Dying in your sleep is, in some respects, the best and easiest way to die
