Yes, they have lives. Those lives include a healthy sense of inquiry. Many people come here to learn more about religion and spirituality, whether or not they're actually believers themselves. They may simply be curious about what others believe, and why they adhere to those beliefs. This section is a public forum, and hence, is for everyone, not just for those who openly profess faith.

Yes - and we're strong people who dont need the props of religion etc. I used to be a JW and when I look back on that SAD episode of my life I can see why I didnt have a life!! The best thing I ever did was walk away from all that mamby-pampy, brain-washing crap and start thinking for myself! Now, I'm a REAl person living in the REAL world! And I'm a normal, well-balanced individual who can make my own decisions. So, yes, most definately WE DO HAVE A LIFE!!!

It's part of a learning curve for young people to find out how they feel about different things. Religion is obviously a big issue in their lives and they are putting out feelers before they settle into a full blown adult understanding. I think some are trying out feelings when they say bad things about religion and people of faith or spirituality, you know the sort of thing..do I feel comfortable saying this, does it feel right, is this what I want to believe, is this what I believe. All part of growing up.

I have two thoughts on this. First I think the Non-religious just like to poke fun at us religious and spiritual folks. Second I think there are just bored kids and other people that have nothing better to do than try to get people all worked up with wild remarks. I think my second view makes up most of the people in here that oppose R & S.

I have a great life! It's just that part of that life requires me to work on the computer. I work from home, but I need to be at the computer much of the day for updates. Therefore, I have a lot of time to kill while on the computer! Religion is interesting to talk about, even if you don't believe in it. You don't have to be a philosopher to like to talk about philosophy.

A better question would be, "If people that don't believe in Religion and Spirituality weren't here, who would answer all the questions?"

Absolutely we do.
We come on here to read the gullible ravings of the believer, who without a shred of evidence believes in nonsense.
And you claim WE don't have a life!

Athiesm is kind of a religion and your only reading the first part of R&S religion and spirituality just because someone don't believe in a God dont mean their are not spiritual.
