You believe in God and his angels? Why is it so hard to believe some of those angels wanted things their way as demons they became?
We don't always mention demons as they get too much credit. Man does a perfectly good job of messing things up on his own. We have had so much practice.
They do take personal interest when it suits them. They are naturally upset knowing their future is severely bleak. When Jehovah's Kingdom takes over the earth, life as they know it is done.

JWs believe in the bible.
Does the bible mention demons?
Jhn 8:49 Jesus answered, "I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me.
It would appear even Jesus believed in demons.
Matt 28:8-9 "there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way. And suddenly they cried out, saying, "What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?"

Why not? A lot of people believe in ghosts and many feel they have evidence to such. The only difference with JW's is that they believe these "ghosts" to actually be demons. Why do they believe that demons exist? Because the Bible says demons and Satan exists so being that JW's stick close to what the Bible says, then it's believed.

Can you give a better understanding of why people do bad things, things beyond human thinking. Is it normal to blow innocent people up, take even your own life, or plot and scheme, rape, child abuse or any of these bad things we see today. Just because JWs see the truth behind why bad things occur and try to show others. Perhaps it would be better when they call to ask them to show you why they speak about demons. Try reading Rev. 12:9 and ask next JW to explain.

The premise of this question is false.
This answerer has personally read over 6000 questions and about ten times that number of answers. Perhaps twenty answers by seeming JWs concerned demons, because the question asked about them.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe the bible to teach that demons are real.

The demons were at one time angels of Jehovah, but they rebelled against their Creator and thus became the cohorts of Satan. (Matthew 12:24) Their purpose is to corrupt people and turn them away from serving God. To accomplish this, the demons use human teachers to promote a selfish, immoral way of life that is condemned by Jehovah.
The Bible calls them ‘Satan’s angels,’ or demons. Revelation 12:9.
Do these bad angels, or demons, believe in God? ‘The demons believe God exists,’ the Bible says. (James 2:19) But now they are afraid. This is because they know that God will punish them for the bad things they have done.
Today most people in Christendom do not take such spiritistic practices seriously. Out of curiosity, some may dabble in astrology, magic, divination, and witchcraft, but they do not view these occult practices as demonism. At times, entertainers, sports personalities, and politicians openly admit to their involvement with the occult. Some books and movies portray witches and sorcerers as “attractive, slightly unusual persons whose supernatural activities do harm to no one,” says one encyclopedia. Material designed to entertain and educate children may promote occult themes.
Such a relaxed and casual attitude toward demonism can lead to disbelief in the existence of demons.
So do Jehovah's Witnesses believe in demons? Yes!

I am a JW fan and actually think they are a passion filled people who are duped by their organisation.
However some of what they say is in error and some not. Demons do exist and in this case they are correct. However I know with many religious organisations demons are used as an excuse for bad human behaviour or bad choices.
Also some organisations may use demons as a scapegoat for the error which they teach. Saying that anyone who doesn't agree with their particular doctrine is demonically inspired.
We are all responsible for our response to God and of course must weigh up all doctrine. The bible is the cannon of scripture and NOT the organisation teachers or the watchtower mags. Each person MUST seek the truth themselves and not rely on the organisation to do it for them.
I don't agree with Eds comments. People with very high IQs actually do get involved in cults. That's just a fact. Joining cults seems to have nothing to do with intelligence.

My parents and my brother and I were taught that demons can come into your room at night if you have an evil object in your room or have said and done something wrong. One thing we were taught is that if you say something out loud, a demon can hear it and use it against you to steer you away from Jehovah. They can't read your thoughts. But they can supposedly guess your motives. If you said Jehovah out loud and rebuked them, they were supposed to go away. If you removed the evil object or tried to burn it, some Witnesses had tales of unusual things happening before it burned all the way. Some go so far as to believe that if something goes wrong in their lives, it is because they said out loud what they wanted and the devil and his demons were working against them. *sigh*
They believe in demons because their bible talks about demons and ascribes power to them. Satan is the ruler of "this world" after all.

I don't recall ever mentioning demons in one of my answers,..but ok.
We do believe in the working of satan's demons in the worldy influences today. Spriritism, occult, etc., these are all wrapped up in 'making nice' with the demons.
Guess I finally answered a question and mentioned demons at the same time :-)

Yes they do and they try to convince everyone of the same and what really pis*es me off is when come banging your door, they many times have children with them holding that bloody WatchTower. They won't take a polite "no thank you" and leave, I have actually had one put his foot in the door, they are apparently afraid of large dogs also as my dog at the time was over 110 pounds and ran faster than the JW did..I don't answer my door know and they will bloody knock for for sometimes 15 minutes.....GO AWAY, if I was interested in your religion I would come by your church,I don't you to come to my house, grant me the privacy of leaving me alone in my house on my property!
Sorry they tend to really tee me off
