The "lake of fire"is symbolic and represents total destruction. Death and hell are thrown into it, meaning no more death and no more hell--both will be gone forever.

That reminds me of the line by David Gerrold: “The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard.”

What the hell, sure they'll be lifeguards at the Lake of Fire, why not! Otherwise you’d be between the devil and the deep blue sea – sure as hell. Let's just hope you're a good swimmer, come hell or high water. Otherwise, you’ll have to leave your fate in the swim laps of the gods.

Please stop with this psychological warfare. There is no lake of fire, and you're obviously either joking or convinced that ull go there.

Guess what? it's okay, dont' feel bad, and go out in the world and do something productive! Do something for the environment or children or create something.

Don't get sucked into religion please it's killing many people around the world, and has for centuries.

Nothing that is OF god, can be so cruel like that.

And yet the best and holiest religions produce the most cruelty.

It's not the answer,

and you don't need swimming lessons, because the only lake you'll ever swim in is the lake of H20.

The real question is, can you lead a righteous life in hell, then drown yourself in the lake of fire and end up in heaven?

I hope so, because that's pretty much my plan.

Not likely.
A life sentence guard would only push you back in if you were climbing out.
But since no surface to walk on; no implements to assist motation in any way, even that would seem irrelevant.
Best Answer: DON'T GO THERE.
Call upon the name of the Lord (Jesus, salvation) and you will be saved.

Then you might want to rethink your beliefs.
Better be sure you end up where you won't have to worry about that!

But, hey! If you're an atheist, you don't believe in it, anyway, do you?

Voila! Problem solved!

No need. No one comes out of it, not even death, as it is to be thrown into the lake of fire. (Rev. 20:14)

Even hell, mankind's grave, is thrown in.

So, no need for lifegards.
