I am an athiest, but i do believe that Jesus lived, however he was a normal human being!
Some might say that he was gifted, in the fact that he was a healer and that he had a way of making people feel good and special.
He was a leader!
He was of the bloodline of David and he should have been the next 'king of the jews', this however was denied to him by the ruling class of the day.
The whole scenerio concerning Jesus, is that, it was political in nature, rather than him being a messiah.
The words 'son of god' in the language of where Jesus came from, simply meant 'priest', so every priest, was a son of god!
There is alot of evidence, that states that Jesus didnt die when he was crucified and that is why it says in the bible, that he was 'seen again', not because of some miracle of a resurection!
Jesus started a religion that has become the largest religion in the world, in my opinion though, the followers of that religion have lost the true meanings of it!
Jesus does not live now, after two thousand years, he has long gone, his teachings survive, but he died long ago, like every normal human being!

Did a historical man whose name (in English via two or three transliterations) was Jesus exist circa 1-33AD? Most historical accounts would lend to yes, as the name it transliterates from, Yeshua, was quite common. Did that historical figure roam the Israeli countryside preaching a doctrine considered heretical by the Pharisees? Many accounts of "prophets" in the area doing that exist. Did this guy die and resurrect? Chances are good that this one is absolute crap. For one, no Roman or Jewish record exists of this and one would think a dead guy walking around with his disciples would have been big news. Even among the followers, not one saw fit to commit this tale to paper for at least 60 years after the supposed time of death. The one historical record, in the writings of Josephus, aka, the testimonium flavianum, is thought to be a complete fraud as the earliest known copy of that entry dates 300 years later than the original writing. So all we have are accounts that weren't even committed to paper by witnesses but third and fourth hand accounts of a story strikingly similar to many of the contemporary myths of the time and even a few that predate it by a few thousand years. If you can count that as evidence, the concept of logic and evidence escapes you.

yes - he does exist - get with the right with God - who is also jesus - chat away to him - listen for him, just because people cant see him - he IS REAL he makes his presence known in many ways through many things - one time after having an awul awful yuck time in my life - i walked into the l/room and put sky tv on - it flicked without me doing it - to a gospel radio station, i fell about in tears at what the pastor was talking about and then out of nowhere HIS voice clearly said '''I KNOW''......
