I was wondering this because they don't sell old versions from the Adobe store.

No, copyright on them have not expired yet. Won't expire for your lifetime, most likely.

No, even though the product is no longer sold it is still protected by copyright.

Same goes with old Microsoft programs such as DOS and Windows 3.11. It's not legal to install on a computer unless you have a valid license.

I really don't think it's legal to copy any software, old or new. If they don't sell some software anymore, it's likely been upgraded or gone the way of the do-do bird !
