Note: Part of the question was "Have you read..." . If you haven't read it then you are not in a position to give an answer which I will even consider as remotely valid. Thanks :o)

Note #2 : I don't consider ignorance to be a point of view.

Yes I read it. No it didn't make me question my faith at all because his arguments were very illogical. Basically he said, "Religion caused the Crusades, so we all should be Atheists"

I instantly thought, "Science created the nuclear bomb, chemical and biological warfare, and the weapons that were used in the Crusades.... so we all should quit science"

True religion, and true science, seeks to serve a beneficial purpose to humanity. Both religion and science, though, can be used to harm others, but that is no reason to leave the entire subject behind. They are both very important subjects and could help mankind.

Also his very title shows his disrespect. "The God Delusion". How irreverent! I don't tell the Muslims that Muhammad is a delusion, or that the Hindus are deluded for believing in the cycle of lives. I wouldn't even say a follower of Zeus is deluded, because I would not insult something important to them.

I would rather meet 100,000 followers of Zeus than 10 Atheists who are irreverent to the Supreme Being.

Sam Harris "The End of Faith". C'mon how disrespectful can you get!? I wouldn't ever publish a book, "The End of Islam", "The End of Taoism". I don't want their religion to be obliterated. I don't want their religion to vanish. If they leave it on their own accord, fine, but not by mockery, disrespect, and public opinion.

Why, is there anything new that atheists haven't already tried to come up with? If something that trite made people "question our faith" then they probably didn't have much "faith" to begin with.

I was not a Christian but I felt it was very inspiring and confirmed my atheism. It is very, very difficult to counter all of his arguments. I think if any religious person's faith is not shaken, they are simply being unreasonable.

I don't enjoy fictional works. Well, actually I do, but not necessarily religion-based ones.
