I recently got a ticket in pomon, CA. however, i didn't see any parking sign on the entire block. but the tickets said can't park from 8pm- 6am? Greatly appreciated if anyone knows the answer to how far a parking sign is required? thanks

WHY DON'T YOU JUST CALL YOUR LOCAL DMV OFFICE, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS.

States have this little loophole in the law where they don't have to post signs at all. All they have to do is be able to prove the law exists and then come off with the old cleche that ignorance of the law is no excuse.

If the parking restriction is via ordinance throughout the jurisdiction it need not be posted at all. It's up to YOU to know what the law is.

They should be at each end of a block at the corners. Most are more frequent than that.
