I just asked a question minutes ago about the beliveabilty of evolution and seemed to get two common answers: evidence, and also that I was mixing up the Big bang theory and evolution. Well okay so maybe I did I thought if you belive one you *usually not always* belived the other. So setting the Big Bang theory aside, what is the evidence. Convince me. I have an open mind. I seek the truth, convince me. Show my why you belive it don't just say evidence. Yes of course people say that but have they seen it? Have you people ever found a mutated fish fossil? Umm, ya sure there have been some fossils. Man made ones; old bones sautered together. They've found them to be fakes, evolutionists deny it of course, but they were fakes. And that whole evolving horse thing? Y aI studied that not so convincing. Ever heard of a little thing called species? Ya um who says they weren'tdifferent species none of them looked like really mutated to me.

Learn more about Darwin's original observations on the Galopagos Islands. It will help you to start simply, as he did.

It doesn't work quite like that. It's not like there's one species, and then a mutation, and then a new species. And when someone starts talking about "missing links", that, too, is deceptive. It's not as if evolution worked in "steps" (or links). Evolution is so slow that no matter how many transitions of a species you find, there will ALWAYS be "missing links" in-between. The only way you wouldn't have any "missing links" is if you found every single decendant of a million year-old fossil. Take a look at yourself, and your mother. You don't look exactly like your mother, do you? And your child will look even less like her, and their child even less. Now add that up over millions and millions of years. Each generation might have something that is just a teeny-tiny bit different than the generation before it. It would be something that, next to the generation immediately before it, wouldn't be noticeable at all, or even be considered to be anything of note. But add up teeny-tiny differences in each generation over millions and millions of years, and the differences then become noticeable.
And that is completely incorrect to state that fossils were fakes, and that evolutionists denied that. There have been, over the years, a few cases where some people tried to perpetuate hoaxes. And do you know who it was that EXPOSED them as fakes? Evolutionary scientists. One of the most famous hoaxes was actually perpetuated by a Christian missionary. There is never a benefit to real scientists to fake results. As Tim Berra once said, "There is no domain of human knowledge or endeavor that is more open to scrutiny than science; it is the very nature of science that it be honest, fair, and aboveboard, ready at all times to admit it's errors and revise it's theories, and when scientists are caught faking their laboratory results, in support of doubtful hypothesis, they know they have bought their careers a one-way ticket to oblivion."

You seem to subscribe to the misconception that "mutations" produce things like huge tentacles and twelve arms, and so you'd see them clearly. That doesn't happen. Evolution doesn't work that way. The mutations are random inducted canges in the structure of your genetic material, causing small and subtle changes to your overall body in various places. Those mutations that give a benefit to the organism will survive as the organism will be better adapted to survive than one which hasn't experienced said mutation, and so the mutation is passed on. Thus do species gradually adapt and change over time. New features don't just appear, which is why you don't see fossils with random new features like an extra head. The changes can only be observed over a wide number of fossils, and comparing the gradual adaptation through them all.

Evidence:

Analogy and homology -both at macroscopic level and at molecular level. The analisis of several species's genome is giving us overwhelming evidences backing up evolution

"Have you people ever found a mutated fish fossil?" Yes, lots of them =) . The fossil record, incomplete as it is (fossils are very very rare) backs up the theory of evolution.

Species you say. What is a species? For me its just an arbitrary definition invented by man. There are several cases of species that produce hybrids and cases of different populations of animals that are not clearly distinct species.

And so on and so on.

Still, i urge you to keep asking those kinds of questions because many evolutionists here on R&S are silly people

It fits to some extent, but I am sure there are some underlying principals that are not understood, that is a niche where "God principal" can fit in, but not the God of the bible.
Some "facts" about evolution: it can be seen actually taking place today, in a small way, that is in the evolution of so called "super bugs" MRSA etc.
Darwin certainly believed in God, so he had to be pretty sure about his theory before propounding it, he based his theory on observation, particularly of finches on the Galapagos Islands.
All of the intelligent design, or creationist, literature and films that I have seen set out a skewed version, and interpretation of the theory, and then proceed to knock it down, which they easily do.
Just like me saying that I can prove prayer doesn't work, as in so many particular cases it doesn't. That would be a very shallow argument.
I wonder if any Christians spend as much time, and attempt at neutrally, studying evolution, as I have on finding out about religion, and Christianity in particular-going on the alpha course, with an attempt at open mindedness, and much more. I have yet to meet one, and would find it very interesting talking to a Christian who has a grasp of evolutionary principals beyond the simplistic idea that men come from monkeys.

You are trying to get things to change right before your eyes. Guess what - it doesn't work that way. There have been faked fossils, but there are hundreds times more fossils that are real. Evolutionists don't deny that people have faked things, but there is something you and 'your kind' are denying. The creation concept. It did not come from god or the bible. It was in Sumerian tablets long before there was ever any written bible and what it said was there was 7 days of celebrating for the creation of the earth. It did not say the earth was created in 7 days but celebrated in 7 days. a hundred years of re-telling over a campfire and you have your 7 days of creation. You should have at least a little idea about what you speak.

I don't think you need help, you sound like your mind is made up and closed.
If it doesn't make any difference in your daily life, don't bother, I don't think you ever will understand evolutionary theory and as long as you refrain from ever discussing it with somebody who does, nobody will notice. Sorry, it's hard to take somebody serious who claims that fossils are bones sautered together.
If you really want to understand it, you probably should start out with a basic class in biology and start out from there. Without any idea about the basic concept it will be difficult for you to understand evolution.
I don't think there is any point repeating the mountains of evidence you could also read up on talkorigin.org if you really wanted.

Not really seeing an open mind, but....

Why are people that are born in extreme Northern climates blond with blue eyes and pale skin, while people from Equatorial regions are darker skinned, with dark eyes and hair?

Why are there such close similarities on the cellular level between a horse and a hippo? Or a chicken and a dinosaur? Scratch that, the dinosaurs didn't exist in your world.

Why do we have wisdom teeth, tonsils, and the appendix when we don't use any of them any more?

There is literally more evidence for evolution then there is for gravity. It is basically fact (as much of fact as a theory can become) to scientists who are educated on the subject. Here is an overview of the evidence.

There have been hoaxes relating to religion (e.g. finding texts, artefacts) at least as often as in science. But you seem to be suggesting that all fossils that support evolution are fakes. What, apart from a strong desire not to believe in evolution, would lead you to draw this conclusion?

I'm including some links below that I'd welcome you to visit and provide feedback on.
