Interpretating dreams is not applying abstract definitions to vague or specific identities of a dream. It is a natural gift that takes some reasoning skills and alot of insight. You have to listen to what the other person is saying about the dream and what they are not saying.

I agree with you 100%
some people think by reading books or finding what signs mean in a dream can make them interpret a dream, which is complitely wrong.

It has to come from a gift.

Very wise but did you have a question. But to be serious and elaborate a little on what you said, I despise these dream analysis books which has a long list of interpretations for different objects one might see in one's dreams. I often try to interpret my own dreams, let alone others and have a difficult time, but I think that by thinking about them and not simply dismissing them saying, "It's only a dream," you can find ways of opening yourself to their meanings.

Agreed, I get tired of people just googling so called "dream definitions" and copying them...Dreams are individual experiences and circumstantial in the extreme...

Also for those of you who want your dreams interpreted, the more we know about who YOU ARE, and what your specific perspective and situations are, the better we can intuit what your trying to tell yourself through dreams.
