Muslims have something that offers the most clear proof of all - The Holy Quran. There is no other book like it anywhere on earth. It is absolutely perfect in the Arabic language. It has no mistakes in grammar, meanings or context. The scientific evidences are well known around the entire world, even amongst non-Muslim scholars. Predictions in the Quran have come true; and its teachings are clearly for all people, all places and all times.

Surprisingly enough, the Quran itself provides us with the test of authenticity and offers challanges against itself to prove its veracity. Allah tells us in the Quran:

Haven't the unbelievers considered if this was from other than Allah, they would find within it many contradictions?

Another amazing challange from Allah's Book:

If you are in doubt about it, bring a book like it.

And Allah challanges us with:

Bring ten chapters like it.

And finally:

Bring one chapter like it.

No one has been able to produce a book like it, nor ten chapters like it, nor even one chapter like it. It was memorized by thousands of people during the lifetime of Muhammad, peace be upon him, and then this memorization was passed down from teacher to student for generation after generation, from mouth to ear and from one nation to another. Today every single Muslim has memorized some part of the Quran in the original Arabic language that it was revealed in over 1,400 years ago, even though most of them are not Arabs. There are over nine million (9,000,000) Muslims living on the earth today who have totally memorized the entire Quran, word for word, and can recite the entire Quran, in Arabic just as Muhammad, peace be upon him, did 14 centuries ago.

Yes. I agree with you 100% N.N. . I think that many people STILL will not call this proof.
When Muhammad came back with GOD's book. There is a discription in it describing how a embryo & a fetus looked like in the womb at so many weeks along, before doctors & scientists were even thought of. BEFORE TECHNOLOGY.

Detailed explaination..............

"This statement is from Sura 23:13. The drop or nutfah has been interpreted as the sperm or spermatozoon, but a more meaningful interpretation would be the zygote which divides to form a blastocyst which is implanted in the uterus ("a place of rest"). This interpretation is supported by another verse in the Qur'an which states that "a human being is created from a mixed drop." The zygote forms by the union of a mixture of the sperm and the ovum ("The mixed drop").
This statement is from Sura 23:14. The word "alaqah" refers to a leech or bloodsucker. This is an appropriate description of the human embryo from days 7-24 when it clings to the endometrium of the uterus, in the same way that a leech clings to the skin. Just as the leech derives blood from the host, the human embryo derives blood from the decidua or pregnant endometrium. It is remarkable how much the embryo of 23-24 days resembles a leech.
As there were no microscopes or lenses available in the 7th century, doctors would not have known that the human embryo had this leech-like appearance. In the early part of the fourth week, the embryo is just visible to the unaided eye because it is smaller than a kernel of wheat.
cont....Sura 23:14. ~ Sura 23:14 ~ Sura 23:14 ~ Sura 32:9 ~ Sura 22:5 ~Sura 22:5

"The interpretation of the verses in the Qur'an referring to human development would not have been possible in the 7th century A.D., or even a hundred years ago. We can interpret them now because the science of modern Embryology affords us new understanding. Undoubtedly there are other verses in the Qur'an related to human development that will be understood in the future as our knowledge increases."

Yes... Those are the words from God.
Just ask the best Arabian language experts about the authenticity and the beautiful literature beyond our mind.

Look at the content itself, it comprises past, present and future events. Most of the events were proven through history.

To prove that the Holy Qur'an is from God /Allah Subhanna wa Ta'ala, one would first have to prove that there is a"god", which is impossible as Allah Subhanna wa Ta'ala can not be quantified, measured, broken down into "parts", examined under the microscope, etc.

The proof of the existence of God (whether one addresses the diety as YHWH, Trinrity, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, or Allah Subhanna wa Ta'ala) is "faith" and that is a purely subjective view of and by the viewer.

If one does not possess this gift of faith (which must surely be the greatest gift Allah Subhanna wa Ta' ala gives to humankind as it allows for all other spritual gifts to be possessed by the one so gifted) then god does not exist in that individual's subjective and personal view.

Prior to proving the the Holy Qur'an is from Allah Subhanna wa Ta'ala, one would have to prove the existence of God and without the gift of faith....This quickly turns into a viscious cycle which goes no where.

The Holy Qur'an, is without a doubt, the most complete and unaltered text of God's revelations to mankind if one believes in God. This is a historical fact demonstrate by how and when it was compiled and codified.

However, as with all other scriptures of revelations, it does containt contradictons, errors and mistakes. (To list just a few in brief, an angel without freewill disobeys Allah when told to bow to Adam, a man journeys to the land where the sun sets, the world was created in six days with each day being 10,000 years in length, all knowlede that man possesses comes from Allah, yet that knowledge contradicts revelation in the Holy Qur'an, etc., etc., etc.)

Thje Holy Qur'an does present a wonderful model for society at the time it was given to mankind. Parts of this ideal are stilll very viable today.

The life of the Last Prophet, Mohammad, peace be upon him, his family and his followers is examplary. He is a man to be greatly admired and whose example is well worth following especially in his manner of dealing with all others, including his enemies (fair, just, compassionate, kind, loving, etc.)

The Holy Qur'an is a marvel of the Arabic language and possibly its highest acheivement. If one has ever heard it recited, it is no wonder that so many converted upon listening to the same.

Islam has changed the lives of many for the better however, at present, the "wicked are taking heaven by storm" and irrepareable harm is being done to Islam by the extremist. This is similar to what has happen to Christianity by way of its brutal and murderous history and to Judaism by nature of its invasion of modern Palestine.

Islam and the Holy Qur'an are not perfect and one should not claim such. Let those who believe truly practice their faith and thereby spread the "peace" that is Islam by their lived faith.

Let all followers of all religions which promote peace, justice and the harmony of humankind practie the same likewise teaching by lived example.

Let those of no faith live moral lives of reasoning and tolerance of all.

No one way is better than any other. No single way is completely wrong. All roads lead to the top of the mountain.

May it be well with you.

As salaamu 'alaikym warahmatullahi wabaraktu, my sister and my friend.

Okay, now can you show me some examples of the fulfilled prophecies, true teaching, and wisdom? Also, which chapters of the Quran are unbeatable as far as literary perfection? I'm not saying the book is false, but I just want some evidence for your claims.

Question 1- Was "Allah" the name of a moon god BEFORE Muhammad had his "vision"? And didn't Muhammad destroy the 'pagan' temple of this 'moon god' BEFORE he claimed to be the 'profit' of Gabriel?
2-Doesn't the quran say that Jesus was a profit? and if that is so why don't they believe the "profit Jesus" when he says he's the son of God?
3-Isn't is also true that most of the quran is Psalms and Proverbs from the "Christian" bible?
4-Our "Dead Sea Scrolls" can back up our old Testament, that are OVER 2,000 years old (not 1,400) what does the quran have?

So, all this means that the Quran is from God. No one has shown any proof that God even exists!! How does this great book explain Evolution and what about t the dinosaur's. Nostradamus made some predictions that came true. Does this mean he was god?

2007-07-09 07:04:44 · answer #7 · answered by Anonymous · 2 5

Provide one event the Quran predicted. Just one. Not ten. Not a whole book. Just one.

And since when does a book lacking in contradictions automatically qualify it as written by god? If that were the case then there are thousands of books written by god and a thousand people who can call themselves god.

"Surprisingly enough"...yeah, what a surprise that yet another religious fundamentalist makes unsubstantiated claims.

The Qur'an comprehends the complete code for the Muslims to live a good, chaste, abundant and rewarding life in obedience to the commandments of Allah, in this life and to gain salvation in the next. It is the "chart of life" for every Muslim, and it is the "constitution" of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.

The Qur'an is the eternal contemporary of the Muslims. Each generation of Muslims has found new sources of strength, courage and inspiration in it. It is also, for them, a "compass" in the turbulent voyage of life, as it has explained itself in the following verses:

. . . Indeed, there has come to you light and a clear book from Allah; With it Allah guides him who fill follow His pleasure into the ways of safety and brings them out of utter darkness into light by his will and guides them to the right path. (V: 15-16)

It has created an all but new phase of human thought and a fresh type of character. It deserves the highest praise for its conceptions of Divine nature in reference to the attributes of Power, Knowledge, and Universal Providence and Unity--that its belief and trust is one God, creator of Heaven and Earth is deep and fervent, and that it embodies much of a noble and moral earnestness. It is Qur'an which transformed the simple shepherds and wandering Bedouins of Arabia into the founders of empires, the builders of cities, the collectors of libraries. If a system of religious teachings is evaluated by the changes which it introduces into the way of life, the customs and beliefs of its follower, then Qur'an as a code of life is second to none. It is not strange then, that more translations and more commentaries of the Holy Qur'an have been published than that of any other book claimed to be the Divine Revelation.

No, nobody can prove the Quran is the word of Allah. Just like how nobody can prove that the Bible is the word of God, or that God even exists.

It has been stated that empirical evidence that supports the existence of God or any deities has never been provided.

Therefore, faith is the only thing that can keep a believer believing in his/her religion. Faith is the only thing that nobody can tamper with or dispprove. To have faith in the Quran and Allah is reasonable and cannot be contradicted.
