The didn't go there on purpose....just where they landed when the wind quit blowing.

I served as part of Operation Katrina Relief. And I can state that what you have just said is not only untrue - but it is also irresponsible.

Facts for you:
1) The Mexican army sent a few specialist search-and-rescue units that arrived about a week after the hurricane. (As did the Canadians.)
2) The Red Cross was 'on the ground' before the hurricane even hit.
3) The Red Cross is an NGO - and as such President Bush has no control over their actions.

They didn't. And the people that should be ashamed are Ray Nagin and the city officals and the Gov. of La. 200 school buses sitting unused, with 4 days warning thata class 5 huuricane was bearing down on a city below sea level. Knowing all along that the levees would break from a class 4 or 5 and sat and did nothing. Then cried like a little baby that there was no one there to help them. This is endemic of the socialization of services and dependence on the Government for everything. The people that should be ashamed are those that sat on their hands and did nothing for themselves.

There was no hurricane Catrina. Point in fact, your talking about hurricane Katrina and elements of the Mexican Army rolled in with supplies WAAAAAAYYYYY after the US Military and American Red Cross got there.

Is this a trick question? I'll guess it was because the Mexican Army was already there? Is that right? What do I win?
