People have a tendency to want to see appreciation shown in a way that they want it shown and then do not easily see when it is a shown in an unexpected way. It is not that men do not show appreciation, they may just not show it in the manner that you want them to show it.

The same reason that women have a hard time showing appreciation.
Maybe what you did for him wasn't really what he wanted, or maybe he didn't realize that what you did was that big of a deal for you, or that it required all that much effort.
Or maybe he thought that you did something just to get attention, and he is feeling manipulated.
Or maybe he did show his appreciation, but not in a way that you wanted or expected, so you missed it.

I dont think all men are hard headed, for some reason, men and women- there are gonna be the really sweet ones, and then there are the ones who are gonna be difficult sometimes. Ive shown plenty appreciation for some women that ive dated and still got dissed...

Not all men are that way. I know several, including my husband and my dad, that are very good at showing appreciation. It has to do more with their personalities and maybe how they were raised.

It's not. It's hard for PEOPLE to show appreciation, apparently. I have not experienced women being any more likely to show appreciation. Most people are selfish.

Hard headed, stubborn, ignorant, uncaring or just plain stupid...take your pick.
I'm a guy and I show appreciation constantly to my wife and friends...even my college professors. It makes them feel good, as well as me. Most men are, however, just plain old insensitive and uncaring.

because men aren't appreciated. Women want to be like men(only where convenient) and some men want to be like women. Our world is backwards. yeh.
