Have just bought a new car and wanted to fit my cd player from my previous car. Thought it would be quite simple beacuse the 2 leads coming from my cd player (ISO) fitted into to connecters coming from the car. However I only have sound coming from the passenger side of the car !!. I have tried changing the settings on the cd player to play on both sides but no change, !!

What kind of vehicle is it?

The most likely cause is a poorly-fitted adapter plug. I've seen this in many Ford vehicles with factory-amplified sound systems; often the pins in the small square harness don't go into the socket correctly when the plug in inserted, and in these vehicles, it usually affects the left side speakers.

Hi

If you're sure that all of the speakers are in full working order then you probably need an adaptor.

Try these lot

You should be able to mail them the make and model of the stereo and the make and model of car it is going into and they will be able to recommend and supply an adaptor for you.

Best regards
