Because failure in Iraq is paramount to their success here... the only other issue on the Democratic platform is Global Warming (i.e. the Great Bullsh*t Issue of 2008)... if we are successful in Iraq the Dems have nothing and they know it... they are banking on their own country's failure...

A, I see nothing in that article to say we are winning, only that the terrorists are being smart and holding up where we can't hit them. Our troops unfortunantly have no such safe area (even the green zone gets shelled).

I don't think its possible to say we are winning when the death tolls keep going up at an increasing rate. Maby fewer Americans are dieing (which was only true untill the "surge" went into effec) but tens of thousands of Iraqis are being killed every year.
It really isn't even a war WE can win. They're not really fighting us anymore. Sure they take pot-shots at us whenever they possibly can because we keep swinging our support from side to side, but those that are doing the fighting are the Sunnis and Shiites. We're just stuck in the middle trying to make sure that the ones that win like us.

We are NOT winning in Iraq, Afghanistan or any other Muslim country! As far as democrats go, they know the truth (so do the republicans) but are too stubborn to admit defeat! Therefore, I propose we help them realize the most important concept in politics today - THEY WORK FOR US, AND WE SAY WITHDRAW FROM THE MIDDLE EAST!!! Do it now before we REALLY get mad!

Over the last forty years the Democratic party has drifted away from the kind of pro-democracy, pro-capitalist, pro-American values that typified the party in the era of FDR, Truman and JFK. As the extreme left-wing sixties radicals took over they adopted the communist cold war mantras that everything the U.S. is and does is bad. If a nation is suffering under a genocidal dictator, then it's better to have millions die than to have the U.S.overthrow the dictator and help the people achieve democracy. If millions are starving to death under a socialist regime it's better to have them starve rather than adopt a capitalist system that will produce prosperity. For the modern Liberal/Democrat no amount of human suffering is too much as long as American efforts to improve peoples lives can be made to fail. Ultimately, the only thing that will satisfy these people is a complete collapse of American prosperity and power, and the reduction of the American people to the status of slaves ruled by uncontrolled government bureaucrats. The war in Iraq is just the latest and most visible of their many campaigns against this country and its people.

Sorry Kawii, but in live fire training your targets aren't shooting back with far more accuracy than you possess.
Dems get so mad because they are invested in our losing this war. That way they can increase their own power at the near-term expense of our military and the long-term expense of Western Civilization. Our enemy, Islamic Fascism, has stated that their goal is Western Civilization's destruction. Of course the Dems don't believe this is possible and want to return to a pre-9/11 "peace," where a few embassy personnel, soldiers and other Westerners killed each year is fine cause 'they are where they shouldn't be anyway.' If we follow the Dems path a whole lot more of us are going to die.

So tell me which dictionary it is that you're using that defines 'winning' as "where the country that we invaded on false premises gradually gets more unstable, dissolves into civil war, where radical islamism and terrorism are up by who knows how much % where half the country are unemployed and where even the middle of Baghdad gets shelled or has a car bomb blow up when a major player in the US government visits" - that sure sounds like one interesting dictionary.

I'm not a "Dem", per se, but as a liberal, I'll take the liberty of replying.
Al-Qaeda and their ilk have ALWAYS used training camps in various sympathetic strongholds around the globe, you moron. Watch the news once in a while, and maybe you'll see that Bush's Republican supporters in Congress and the Senate are defecting on a daily basis. I highly doubt that these are the actions of people who believe we're "winning".
And to answer your original question, I guess I'd have to say, "Because we hate LIARS."

because they are stupid and dont support bush and they think that the work he is doing is worthless and is just killin our men and women but they dont see they truth only what the media tells them and that is always the bad! And they never look at the improvements we've made, or the good of anything!

Because it shows a delusional mind. FYI, they weren't training in Iraq before we showed up, so saying they must train elsewhere doesn't mean we are winning, it means we have got it back to the way it used to be.

Winning What?

We don't get mad, it is frustration. When you think of all the innocents being killed each day, how can there be victory on either side? This war is a quagmire, there will never be a clear cut victory, and so never a way out.
