If it's so, then repentance seems rather futile to me, think I'll just relax back into my harmlessly sinful ways as usual and give the repentance thing a miss seeing as it won't make a jot of difference to my status.
If it's not so, then the people who think we are all sinners are wrong because clearly there would be some of us who had repented for all our sins and were not sinners...so what's the answer?

We're all sinners because even though we repent, we WILL sin again. We're human and NOT PERFECT. CHRISTIANS ARE NOT PERFECT- just forgiven for all the bad things we've done.
Anyone who says they are blameless or perfect has just proven themselves wrong in even saying such a thing.
Everyday we do something wrong- we think a wrong thought or - anything. That makes us sinners- CONTINUOUS SINNERS- we have to repent everytime but there will NEVER be a day that we stop sinning- until we die. Its just that to get into heaven, you have to have all your sins forgiven. .
Thats the only difference- Christians get forgiven other people dont. The reason to repent- you do bad and you know you did bad- you feel bad about it and ask for forgiveness.NO SIN WILL ENTER HEAVEN. and we sin everyday. We've gotta get them forgiven

I'll answer in case you really want to know.
It is true that all people sin.
Sinners are those who reject and Biblical teaching or sin and may or not feel regret but make no effort to not sin.
Christians are those who have obeyed -believed, repented, confessed, and were baptized. They will slip up and sin, but they regret it and make an effort to change.
Repenting (change in attitude and action) does nothing if you reject God. Depending on the sin, changing behavior may help you stay out of trouble with the law, though!

When you become a Christian, God sees you as a Saint or a Sinner. You might still sin, but the Blood of Jesus will wash it away. So, everybody is a sinner and alway's will be, but some are lost and some are saved. There is nobody that is perfect, that is why Jesus came and died for our sins.

Yes, we are, as long as we are in this flesh. We are all sinners saved by grace. Yes, we repent of our sins and are forgiven, but we are still sinners. Just like a person who is an alcoholic, they may quit drinking, but they are still alcoholics. Our job, once we repent, is to strive to stay a Christian. Because Satan is still roaming to and fro, seeking whom he may devour, we need to pray the more, read our Bible the more, less we fall to temptation and sin again. I do not believe once saved, always saved..

If you are walking down a path with quicksand on each side, and you occasionally start to wander off the path, I'd say it is in your best interest to come back to the path each and every time. That's repentence. Failing to do so even once will make a major difference in your status.

First, there's still a change in our attitude towards sin: we now hate the sins we once cherished. Second, there's a change in our relationship with God: we are no longer under His wrath, having accepted His free gift of salvation.

6--Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
