by "turn out good" you mean focus right?
the lens can be turned to adjust the focus

in certainty the only element you want for the eyetoy is the easily gadget and the linked stand, the usb twine to connect the eyetoy to the ps2, and the interest (all must be lined once you purchase the eyetoy kit no longer except you got aspects in my opinion). different than which you may in simple terms want a properly lit room so the eyetoy can function suitable.
