The picture on my t.v. (which only a few years old) has started to warp. What are supposed to be straight lines are now curved etc.
What's wrong with it???

what I want to know is why are people making fools of themselves for 2 points and who is rating the answers?

Keystoning IS a very correct answer.

KEYSTONING is non-technically know as pincushioning and causes straight lines to appear curved as in a barrel look or a pincushion. Sets have electronic, mechanical or no adjustments for this.

you might also be trying to describe a trapezoidal look - straight lines the slant in from top to bottom. This is a deflection coil problem and usually requires component replacement to cure.

I'm guessing that your tv got magnatized slightly. its easily fixable if your T.V. is new you might have a setting called a "defragger" this resets the screen back to normal. if your T.V doesnt have this capability there is another way to defrag your screen (i know this from experiance and it works). Take a power drill and tape a magnet on the tip and turn it on and glide it across your TV screen the picture will be brand new.

Could be what they call keystoning. Check your menu for options in changing picture size and orientation. Also you can call any local repair shop and they may be able to tell you on the phone what you can do when you give them the model you have and issue.
