I want to watch video clips of a show i like, and i downloaded them for the show's website. when i downloaded them they became icons on my desktop. but when i click on the icons, it says 'error opening movie' 'movie could not be opened'
does anyone have any suggestions to me on what might be wrong?
or how i can watch my videos?

Try downloading the WMV components part from the link below. It lets you play windows media files using Quicktime. This may be the problem, but if not, it is a good plug-in to have.

what is the format of the video ? use vlc media player. it plays every video format known.
