I am very pleased to have lived to see these medical breakthroughs, I hope to also see a day when people are smart enough to not smoke, shoot each other, or fight amongst themselves.

What social growth would you like to see that may also be medically treated?

The medical news was listed on Yahoo's home page this morning. I would suggest a search of the two topics and it will likely bring it up.

I would like to see a cure for mental illnesses. Autism is on the rise in children (including mine), and no one seems to understand why. I would like to see us understand the brain, the way we now understand DNA. We could cure so many things and make our society a happier and healthier place.

Wow, what an interesting question compared to the sea of less than intelligent questions out there!

I'd love to see a cure for rage. Whether it's road rage or the guy I saw in the park yesterday yelling at his wife and telling her to shut up. By no means do I want a cure for anger - it's a normal emotion. But it would be nice to have a way for people with a short temper to control that anger.

STRESS!! Americans' have such stressful lives!! People need to relax more, take more time for family/loved ones. By having a vaccine for stress, that would reduce anger, violence, crime, health problems, among other things. In most European countries, new employees get an automatic 5-6 wks. PAID vacation. It is known that these countries have healthier lifestyles.Us Americans' are way too stressed. Most of us are in a hurry to get nowhere fast. Wouldn't it be great to have 5-6 wks. vacation that is paid for by the company??? Oh Yeah!!

It is amazing what technology can do....sadly it seems to be limited to those who can afford to pay for it.

The social growth I would like to see would be affordable healthcare for ALL, regardless of ability to pay.
