When connectng Sony camera to computer it downloads from the memory stick onto Cyberview (Sony's software), and also into My Pictures simultaneously. It seems I can't move pictures from Cyberview. What I do is download pictures from My Pictures to computers CD-ROM. And from there put them on a CD. Question is when pictures go from my camera into My Pictures is it still a 6 megapixel shot (the way my camera took shot or did it downsize to jpeg? On the CD all my info is there as to focal length, shutter speed, aperture, to time of day shot was taken.

Everything should be the same. Unless you have a third party program uploading the pics to your computer for you Windows won't change the size of you pics.

To be sure right click the images, click properties and look at the size of the file. They should be the same as on Cyberview.

The only exception to this would be that Cyberview pulls the RAW files (not jpegs) off of your camera and converts them to jpegs and inserts them to My Pictures. Even if it did this it still should be 6mp, unless there is a setting in Cyberview you need to change.

I am not speaking from experience with Sony. I own Cannon.
