The Bible is clear as to the fate of those who reject God?

"Fear him which is able to
destroy both soul and body in hell" (Matthew 10:28).
"Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his angels . . . And these
shall go away into everlasting punishment" (Matthew
25:41,46). "The same shall drink of the wine of the
wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture
into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be
tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of
the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and
the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and
ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who
worship the beast and his image, and whosoever
receiveth the mark of his name" (Revelation 14:10-11).

It is moral for God to condemn those who die in their sins to eternal torment in the lake of fire (note that whatever God does is justified by virtue of His station as Lord of Lords and King of Kings.) Is torturing criminals moral?

This seems to be bothering a lot of people on this thread. That God would put anyone in a lake of fire. I had a problem with this and I finally came to accept that hell does exist. I also know that God is kind and his judgment will be just. He takes all things into consideration. He knows you better than you know yourself. He is the creator.

Some governments use torture for suspects,[guantanamo].Funnily enough this is the country where it is impossible for an atheist to be elected to high office.

Torture is immoral.

The bible is a book written by men, edited by men, translated by men. Changed by men who use the revised version to promote their position over others.

I think it is moral to end suffering. I don't think anything could be moral outside of that goal.

No it isn't moral, but God is, and what He does is what He does, when He decides too, He is God.
