Yes. God COMMANDS his followers to go to war, to kill their enemies, to steal their belongings, and to kidnap their women and children for sex slaves.

God does not take sides in man's wars. The bible tells us to "love our enemy and pray for those persecuting you" Matt 5:44 His people are to "beat their swords into plowingshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore" Is 2: 4
War is one of the signs that we are living in the last days. Matt 24: 7; Luke 21:10 & Mark 13:8 "For nation will rise against nation and kingdom agains kingdom".
In the last 93 years, we have had two World Wars, which had never taken place before. It was estimated at the end of WWI, 93% of the world was involved in the war. Since 1945 to 1982 there have been 270 wars and many more since.
It is estimated that upwards of 100 million people have died in wars in the 20th century alone.

did god toss Lucifer into hell b/c of the "war" against god. the war in which he gathered and influenced 1/3 of the angels to fight w/ him in order to take gods place? my point is, im sure god doesn't agree w/ war but like the saying goes" don't start no s**t, but never take any "s**t" that's what happened. god didn't start it, but he didn't take it. besides it does say in the bible that in the end, that there will be a war against good and evil, the faithful and unfaithful, the living and the dead, between Christ and Satan... so although i think god has a problem w/ wars, sometimes it is necessary ... like wwll, could you imagine if Hitler were successful w/ his" Aryan new world order"? and thats just 1 example

It depends where you look for your answer. If you search the Bible you will find plenty of texts which claim that God at times demands war, that God sends his people to exterminate others and take their land, because he had promised that land to their forefathers. Historically, of course, the evidence is that the Israelites themselves arose within Canaan, for the most part, and did not achieve their dominance through genocide.
If you are seeking a more well-rounded theological answer, then you would need to consider just war theory and other perspectives, and decide whether a transcendent God would ever have an interest in human beings shooting at each other and blowing one another up.

That is a very deep question. Of course good luck getting a well thought out insightful answer on here. People just want to give a knee jerk answer.
God did give us free will ... In that way we are only exercising what was given to us by God. Where I think it gets tricky is who then has the Karma to work out in their lives because of war?
The soldier who killed someone, or the commander that ordered it, or the General who ordered the commander, or the leader who started it? Or maybe they all do ... It can get very intense thinking about this ....
Ahhh I love the thumbs down people in questions like this ... Ignorance is truly bliss when asked to look outside the box ...

True! Jesus is coming back with a sword not LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. He loves those that do his will. The United States (Manasseh) is God's battle Axe, to bring up countries and to bring them down, do you think that we are a powerful nation by luck , do you? Our founding fathers wrote about God's plan in there diaries, they knew and understood what God was doing. Jesus is returning and billions are going to be squished, because there ius no faith anymore.
GOD’S BATTLE AXE
Yes, this country is Manasseh, God's battle Axe to bring down countries or to lift them up. God's people of Abraham's decedents were in captivity for 2,520 years. In 1776 was the birth of a nation of God's people. At this time God is gathering his people back into one: Ephraim (Great Britain), Manasseh (united States) and Judah (Jerusalem
DO THE WILL OF GOD
You need to find a home church, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)

It is true in the sense that no fictional character can have problems, other than those his authors create for him.
It is also true in the Islamic, Muslim and Christian sense.
The gods of those religions are both very interested in war. At least, that's what their mythologies say.
In truth, it is always the human race that makes war. No other species has that stupid problem. Fictional characters have no influence in reality except that so many zealous idiots believe in them.

It depends who you ask. God tells me we are to love our enemies:
Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good. - Ecclesiastes 9:18.
seek peace and pursue it - Psalm 34:14.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. - Matthew 5:9.
The armour of a TRUE CHRISTIAN! not guns, bullets, tanks, bombs, but rather:
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; - Ephesians 6:11-18.
God can use an army to bring shame upon a disgraceful leader:
But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies. - Psalm 44:9.
I think the world would be a better place if more people (all religions, atheists, etc.) were to show love and patience, because you can make more friends with love and patience than by shooting bullets at them. Read 1 Corinthians 13:
