Truck Series Driver Arrested - Drugs Involved: Mason [Ohio] Police said NASCAR driver, Aaron Fike, was arrested at Kings Island this weekend. It happened in the parking lot Saturday afternoon. According to police , Fike struck a Kings Island security officer with the side mirror of his car as he drove away. When Mason police arrived on the scene, they found heroin inside his SUV as well as syringes and spoons with residue. Fike was not alone. He had a woman with him, by the name of Cassandra Davidson. Both were arrested on drug possession charges and taken to the Warren County Jail. Fike, 24, is a driver of the #1 Toyota Tundra Craftsman Truck Series. He's currently ranked eighth in the series.

You know, Not jumpin' to conclusions on this too much.. But unless somehow he passes a drug screening, and this is just the girls stuff.. He's screwed. Bye, Bye NASCAR. I can't believe a heroin-user could even make into one of NASCARS elite divisions.

Well, it's bad news when you hear of any professional athlete getting caught up in a drug related, domestic, or any other kind of scandal. If everything proves true against him, I think he can give up on ever having a chance at furthering his NASCAR career. It's unfortunate that he chose to do partake in an activity that would ultimately ruin his career in one way or another, but he made the choice and now must live with the consequences. I for one do not want someone to be involved in the sport I love who is doing that kind of stuff.

Didn't this happen about 6 years ago with Shane Meil and we still haven't seen him race in the Bush Series or the Craftsman Truck series, I think that we are going to see the same thing with Aaron Fike, when he gets out of jail.

If the police screened him and he fails the drug test NASCAR will suspend him.
The suspended Kevin Grubbs and Shane Hmiel for failing drug test. Both have failed repetitively.
So if the local police department did a screen and he is positive there is another good talent out.

Whoa i went to Kings Island last week. I live like 6 miles from Mason (In good old West Chester). The local news was all over this. It's weird to have something to do with nascar in the news in your own backyard.

Its sad that these guys with all this money, they think they have what they always wanted, so they turn to drugs. Athletes, actors, musicians, who ever. All that money and they go to drugs. If they want to go blow that money on useless crap, why don't they do something usefully out of it and get a better high, like give the money to charity. Seeing a sick child smile would be the all time high. I just hope these "druggies" will come to realize it.

If he gets kicked out of NASCAR, which he sould if found guilty, he could always try the NBA, NFL, MLB, they seem to have some relaxed rules on drug use.

I'm totally against drugs, if it was me I wouldn't let him ever come back to racing. But of course he should be allowed a chance at rehab and then have testing often, and if he should fail again, then lose his racing job thru NASCAR.

If they cannot random drug test him, he needs to be banned. If for no other reason than the safety of those around him in the sport.

I live in Cincinnati, and I can tell you that the worst place in the world to do anything untoward is King's Island.
He should get a shot at re-hab [a real one] and subsequent re-instatement. It was that darn girl, I tell ya!
