ben and jerry's sells about 15 million pints of ice cream a year, add that to the money they get from their stores...
i don't really know if they make the most money, but they would most likely be in the top running.

I don't know if they make good money or not (they ought to considering what they charge for a pint of their ice cream!), but the best I've ever had is from a local ice cream chain in the midwest called Graeter's. They have a black raspberry chip icecream that is to DIE for. Unlike store bought icecream (mint choc. chip, for example) where the chocolate is cut into tiny little pieces and is rock hard, these chocolate chunks are about as big as a nickel and somehow stay soft. OMG it's good!

For commercially available ice cream I really like Breyers chocoIate. I used to be a big Ben & Jerrys fan I even took their Vermont factory tour once. Then they sold out and started making a mass produced corporate product which from a blind reading of their ingredient list is indistiguishable from any other mass produced corporate ice cream

I don't know which one makes the most money, but Bluebell ice cream is the best. It's the only sweet I indulge in on occasion.

It depends on what your preference is and what is available in your part of the country.
Cold Stone Creamery is excellent. Braum's and Bluebell have good ice cream.

Arun and self made ice creams are best. If u prepare for yourself with good and clean raw materials it is so good for health.
