Wow, Im with ya honey.
Except if we all have this amnesia then when do people say silly things like "someday we will se each other again" or "I cant wait to get to heaven and see all my loved ones...Auntie Pearl waiting for me"
You cant have amnesia and then remember all your loved ones. Besides if we all had amnesia, what exactly is the point of heaven? Do we all walk around going "Do I know you?"

Well, I believe that the bible states nothing about those whom have chosen Hell for eternity having bad memories wiped away.
So, if you want all your memories, tears and such, You know which direction you will choose.
There is a reason that your church family is called your family in the bible. They are the ones that you are going to spend eternity with, not unsaved ones that you may have been born to, or born of, or bear yourself.
It is why the bible states not to marry a non believer, but if you do, stay with them, so that they have every chance to believe and be santified through having watched you live according to Gods will and way.
This stuff matters, it only seems to hurt when you defy God and do it your own way and want God to change long standing rules to fit your situation and desires

OK, if you are going to run around with a chip on your shoulder, that's fine. Just check your facts and be specific.
If you consider the Jewish / Christian / Islamic tradition of the afterlife, God does not "send" you to Hell. In these belief systems there is a way out. The people who end up in Hell chose not to get in the "spiritual lifeboat."
People have free will, when God tells them how to get out of the soup, how is it His fault if people they don't listen?
As it seems clear that you don't believe in any of this anyway, why are you worried about it? Or is this just the typical atheists obsession and hatred for a God they don't believe in?

This concept is about as sick and twisted as the notion of sending your kid to be killed so that you can forgive your other kids of disobedience.
Fortunately, the Jews said this isn't so and all good people will go to heaven, regardless of religious belief. I trust the Jews about Jewish religious matters more than I trust Greeks and Romans. The Greeks and Romans tended to flavor things with their own opinions and gods and stuff like that, hence ONE god became a Three-In-One god, who just happens to share a birthday with Mithra...

hell or Gehenna is the common grave of all mankind
so we have that established
next is most people will not go to heaven.
They will live on the earth
They will get the gift of life right here on earth and be given a paradise to live in.
We will see our loved ones when they are resurrected.
The only ones we will not remember are the ones that are being judged now.
It said your eye will not feel sorry for them because they blatantly and willfully disobeyed God and were judged unworthy to live.
We are living now in a judgment period....just like the days of Noah, Lot, Jonah, Adam etc. and anyone who does not stand with God is killed.

I'm not sure what you are basing this concept of 'god given amnesia' on.
Though it makes about as much sense as the rest of the crap that religious people babble about.

The original translations utilize the verbiage 'blotted out' and in that context there will be no memory of those who do not participate in the eternity for all will have the opportunity to do so.

God is even more concerned and hurt than you are about people's decision to choose Hell and not choose the sacrifice of His Son that He made for them so that they can go to Heaven.
