Did you order one that was in dealer stock, if so how close is the dealer and when will he ship it to your dealer. Does it have to be built, if so it can take up to eight weeks. Should have asked the dealer, not us!

It depends.
I ordered my car in November 2002, and got it in the first week of March 2003 - but that was exceptional (the dealer couldn't place the order with the factory in mid-January because the exact specification I wanted wasn't yet in production).
Build to order usually takes about 6 weeks from a European factory to the UK, with an extra week for delivery to the dealer and pre-delivery inspection. The dealer should be able to confirm a build week within a day or two of placing the order with the factory, and you should expect the car the week after that.
If the car is in stock somewhere (factory, distributor, dealer network) it will be quicker.

Hi it depends on whether you ordered a standard vehicle or whether you were tempted to spec the vehicle with optional extras. A standard spec car expect to wait 1 to 2 weeks as they are normally ready built and just have to taken from storage, transported to the dealer, pre- delivery inspected and registered. If you have chosen an unusual colour or have added factory options such as different wheels, stereo, electrical items such as automatic wipers then expect to wait 5 - 8 weeks. Normally when purchasing your car the dealer should have advised you of a delivery date so that you can arrange your insurance. If they haven’t contact them and they should give you at least an approximate deliver date.

Depends. The last car I bought was already in this country and only took a couple of days, one to get it to the dealer and one for them to pdi it. On the other hand, the last one herself bought came from Japan and took about 7 weeks by the time it landed in this country and filtered down to the dealer.
I'd ask the dealer.

my car took 8 months, but i paid to jump the queue a bit and bought an older model while i waited.
Your new corsa is probably sitting on an airfield somewhere, they just need to find it and scrape the rust off.
Ask the garage, and double it.

My Husband bought his new car on the Monday and picked it up on the Thursday same week. Need to make sure you have your insurance sorted as soon as you order it and get the registration no. However, if you are getting it custom made it could take up to six weeks. If they have it 'on the docks' then as soon as it can get shipped to the show room/garage. Have fun!

Depends on whether you have specified any "factory options" such as non standard wheels, paint, ICE, spoilers and such like.
A "stock UK model" will usually take about a week to arrive and prep if your dealer is on the ball and they are in stock.

it depends on the build week,(when they make a particular batch of your model and spec) your dealer will tell you delivery date if you ring them.
When I ordered my seat ibiza, i only had to wait a couple of weks, but another guy ordered his (it arrived on same ship as mine) weeks before me, so i just ordered it at the right time
