Just thinking about different avenues to go in life...I am 30 and have both my Bachelors and Masters degree already. Would they help me in a law inforcement job and how much would I make to start, how much is possible? I live in the San Diego area...thanks!

My hubby's an officer, so, no matter where you live, it's prolly not the best paying job you can get w/ a Master's degree. But, he loves it. If that's what you want to do, a Masters can't hurt getting in, for sure. But, it also depends what it's in....a Masters in music isn't going to help you much, for instance, but in Criminal Justice or something like that...you'd use that knowledge.
You'll have to check your local recruitment office for how much you'd get paid. I can tell you, though, most cops across the board aren't in it for the money.

honestly, probably not. when you say law enforcement, so you mean police officer, dispatcher, or what? typically, a master's won't help you as much as experience and tenure will.
pay is very different in different locations, so i can't give you a salary range.

I'm sure it will help you in law enforcement, but again it might depends on what your degrees are in..
