You have a relationship with Jesus, because you are both seperate; hence there is a relationship.
But you are both one with christ, and it is the same One.
I am One with the father; none may come to Him but through the I AM.
christ says this, but not only as Jesus ... as all of us.

I know this upsets some people, but this is not why I posted the question.
I finally understood what Jesus is talking about, and it is not what I was taught; my understanding would be judged heretical.
I just wanted to see if any others have got it too.

Jesus and Christ are one and the same. Jesus is His name, Christ is a title (Greek for Messiah)
God bless

My relationship is with Jesus Christ the only 'Living God'..I believe you are somewhat confused friend. Perhaps you need to learn about your own questions before posting them.
Best wishes, Mike.

No way! Well thanks for pointing me in the right direction... I have been waiting ages for someone to come and tell me how to live my life. I constantly worry that I might not be doing it right. So as soon I find him, I will let you know. I suppose Narnia is as good a place as any to start looking.....

I Position of Jesus (pbuh) in Islam:
(i) Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh).
(ii) We believe that he was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (swt).
(iii) We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe.
(iv) We believe he was the Messiah translated Christ (pbuh).
(v) We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission.
(iv) We believe that he healed those born blind, and the lepers with God’s permission.
