Hell is just another way of saying "God doesn't want to hang out with you" He gives you every chance but if you still reject him you get to go play somewhere else.

Because there is no God like how he has been described to you. Example: look at the Mayans from just a few hundred years ago. They believed human sacrifice was the answer to drought. They actually BELIEVED this and killed thousands of their own people. Can you imagine? They were a fairly sophisticated race of people with accurate astronomy, etc.
Look at today where some people believe killing people in the name of God is a good idea...
These are just extreme examples...now do you believe it is only if a religion sanctifies killing it is wrong? Don't you think some other Things can be wrong along the way? Others believe in their religion so strongly they are willing to kill. How much more convincing does one need that they believe at least as strongly as you do that their religion is the correct one...? Do you still believe Everything about your religion is correct??
Having said that, there are many truths to what's written in the Bible. Follow what you believe; believe in logic. Buddah wrote: 'Believe not what is written in your religious books, or who has said it, no matter even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own logic.'

Um, because grace is good?
It's not about what they have done on earth. God gives them the chance to turn to Him in genuine humility. The problem is, if they don't, then they cannot be with God. They are separated from Him for eternity.
The church has portrayed Hell in a light of punishment in flames, when it should be portrayed as eternal separation from God. Both are punishments, yet separation from God should be the emphasis.

"Eye for an eye" happens all the time everyday. It only stops happening when the victim forgives the offender. Do you not have any suspicion that all the offenses you have enumerated are already the result of an eye-for-an-eye principle, the reality of your proposition? I do not think we have the right to presume that God is unfair. By the way God does not force anybody to burn to hell. It is us by way of our hardheadedness that open the gates to hell.

God doesn't work on an eye for an eye. God said follow what he says or the punishment will be that people that don't go to hell. It is free will to chose what people want!
God isn't out to harm people. But, the decisions people make could eternally harm them. People do what they want, God knows this, and people do it to themselves!

What you are referring to is Karma.
I personally believe that it is our own responsibility as individuals and as a society to make up for the crimes we commit and the wrongs that we do.
Perhaps a better idea would be for our judicial system to work the way you have mentioned but I think this is inhumane. Rapists would be raped, murderers would be killed, theives would have things stolen from them. Society could not function this way. This is why there is such a major debate over the death penalty.

I'm guessing you don't know what the Bible really says about hell. In the original language it's not really mentioned in the way we tend to think of it. Luke used the word Gehenna, not Hell, so look that one up.
There are a lot of false teachings because of mistranslations, and sometimes just out right changes made to the Bible.
And as for an eye for an eye, that was to the extent you could be punished by law, not the minimum.

Actually that was done in the past but there was still heaven and hell ( you can find this in the bible- if you read it). Hell isn't punishment - because punishment doesn't last forever. Punishment- is and added negative, something that someone gets for doing wrong. You don't go to hell for doing wrong. You go to hell for not being saved.

God knows a person better than the person knows himself. I am a living example.
Gods judgment will be just. It will be fair to every person.
You seem to care for others, even the very bad. I think you must be a good person.

There's no such thing... really. Read carefully. Any passage that mentions ppl being burned in Hell is symbolic.
The Bible clearly shows that the wages sin pays is death (Romans 6:23), so after death God can't demand anything of you because your slate is clean (so 2 speak).

God is Apathetic to the acts of man. How could anything we do even matter to an Almighty?
Think about humans in comparison to ants, do you care if ants kill eachother? Or steal food from eachother. No, you didn't even notice, most likely, well an Almighty would be an even greater difference than the analogy I've presented.
