Even though I feel the plight of Cindy Sheehan I'd gather the the person who posted this question is NOT her.

Her son fought for her right to do what she is doing and if he could speak to her from the grave I think he would be embarrassed.

As a veteran of the US Army, I support her right to say what she wants and at the same time disagree with her point. So Cindy, fight your fight just don't expect support of your sons peers or the support of a significant portion of the general public. God Bless America!

I care. I presume you are talking about losing your son in the War in Iraq or Afghanistan. I spend a great deal of time contacting my representatives. While I believe Afghanistan is a necessary war, because we still have Osama bin Laden to capture or kill, the War in Iraq, in my estimation, is taking young lives in a conflict that is unwinnable, and the only reason for it is Oil.

My heart goes out to you for your loss, whether in a war or for any other reason. I am a mother and, to lose a child is one of the most tragic things I could imagine, so heartbreaking I can't even bear to think about it.

They say time heals all, but this is one hurt that will never really go away. The pain will ease, but the loss will always be a haunting one. Remember that people care, really they do. Look after yourself, because your son would want you to do that.

Maam' Im sorry that your son died but that is no reason for you to try and get attention for yourself. Perhaps instead of crying here you should talk with a Chaplain or someone like that that is trained in dealing with people who have lost loved ones. Somehow i dont think this is a proper forum for this type of thing....

What in the hell is wrong with you? You dont go all out advertising to people you son died (if you even did) just trying to get sympathy and get others to feel bad for you. You are a one of the sickest people i have ever seen in my life!

I care. You should be proud of him. If it wasn't for people like him we wouldn't be the country we are. Anyway you look at it there are more people trying to get to this country then the other way around. I morn for your son and all the sons that have died in this stupid war.

What is your problem? If your son is really dead...sorry...and sorry to the families of the other thousands who have died. But your posting stupid answers and you keep saying that my son has died everywhere..then you answer questions about which biscuit from McDonald's or Hadrees you perfer.

Instead of asking us if we care, why don't you celebrate his new life? That would be what he would want. Your son did a brave and noble thing by joining with the risk of getting killed.

I care. And make me angry that young boys and men got killed in Iraq in a stupid invented war by Bush and Cheney. I feel sorry for all the parents, wives and children who have lost a loved one. Makes me very angry to watch the news and to see growing the numbers of fallen soldiers who have died for oil, for taking care of the oil facilities and to take care of Halliburton. Iraq people see it like it is a INVASION and nobody likes a invader that comes to your house and tell you how to live. Don't expect thanks from them but don't blame it neither, they are just defending their cause and their country. The only ones to blame here is the government, Bush, Cheney and all his friends who make money like crazy with this insane war. My deepest sympathy to you and I know as a mother, like nothing would ever feel that hole that your son left in your heart forever, God bless you and I will pray for you peace!!
