They say when you crash diet your metabolism slows down. I fail to see how this is possible, unless there has been muscle wastage, because depending on how much you weigh and how much muscle you have, you need a certain amount of calories to keep you warm, and to keep your organs working. How can your body suddenly need less calories to keep your organs working?
