It's thought that snoring was inherent in early man. Cave men were snorers and it kept wild animals away.

Have you had any wild animal problems since you snore?

Snoring is caused by the soft palate falling across the airway when you relax in sleep. Some snore louder because the occlusion is more complete, it is an indicator of obstructive sleep apnea. Anyone who snores loudly should have a sleep study. Sleep apnea can contribute to heart disease.

I snore and I also have trouble swallowing pills, food, and water. My tonsils are huge and this is most likely the cause of everything, so I'm getting them taken out next month. Maybe you should get yours looked at by an Ear Nose and Throat Specialist. Or else you can try those breathe right strips but I hear they don't work.
