Corporations, far too many of them anyway, are only concerned with one thing, profits. It does not matter how those profits are made sometimes, all that matters is the profit. This excludes the community, the workers, and the environment at times. How can a corporation be seen as a good thing, when all it concerns itself is with money? I see it, in its present form, as being a very negative infuence on society as a whole, and one that does not exemplify anything that Jesus spoke of, how can it when all it does is focus on profits?

I know that most corporations are out to make profits, but there are some that still keep a Christian perspective. Chick-Fil-A is the most common one I think. They are closed on Sundays even though they could be open and make more money. They are not preaching, they are just nice, want to make sure you enjoy yourself and hopefully be a positive influence. The owners give a lot back to the community also. It's about people. We all have to earn a living and some realize that God is the reason for what we have.

God Bless.

A corporation is a fiction at law, created by the 14th Amendment. This means that as "artificial person(s)", they don't have to be concerned about such things as you point out. How do you think Roe v Wade was determined? The fetus is considered an "artificial person" and therefore entitled to no protections under commercial law-the hallmark of the 14th Amendment as enshrined in the Uniform Commercial Code. Corruption is relative and alive and well here in the good ol' US of A.

A corporation is only an example of what god wants, if god is money.

If i were going to set up a "corporation" it would work much like a monestary. The leaders would receive a salary only as great as their lowest paid employee and all profits would go to the poor.

Again Matthew Chapter 25 shows us if we don't invest in GOD then we are burrying our gifts in the sand and if we give back to GOD only that which was given us GOD will rebuke us "wicked servant!" . .. invest in GOD . .. take your gifts and give them to the GLORY OF GOD.

Modern Capitalism is "institutionalized hypocrisy" it benefits a few rich and enslaves everyone else to them. One author said that Capitalism has the tendancy to create a number of petty dictatorships. Basically they are competing little nations at war with one another for your wallet. And it is all about greed, mammon and materialism, and of course mammon is the root of all sin.

repent, give it all to GOD, give to charity. I commend those wealthy who have given great wealth to charity and the poor, and make sacrifices for JESUS . .. And there is blessings in almsgiving . ..
Blessed are the poor of heart for theirs is the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

-LOVE your nieghbor as yourself.
Amen.
